Three weeks of city celebration with circus, concerts, and a White Night
The Corsico Festival is the event of the year for this city in the province of Milan, overlooking the Naviglio Grande. For about three weeks, from late August to mid-September, over seventy events liven up the historic center and the city's neighborhoods – from the center to Giorgella, from Burgo to Piazza Europa – in a collective celebration that combines culture, entertainment, sport, gastronomy, and religious tradition. The organization is managed by the Municipality of Corsico together with the numerous local associations, oratories, merchants, and Confcommercio.
The festival opens with acrobatic contemporary circus, featuring top-level performances, and continues with a packed schedule of theatre, entrusted to groups like Comteatro and Non a Caso, exhibitions, painting workshops, recitals of Milanese songs, and magic shows. Music is omnipresent: jazz concerts, Italian singer-songwriters, rock, ballroom, Latin, and pizzica dance evenings accompany the nights in Corsico.
Among the most anticipated moments is the White Night, which from 6 PM to midnight transforms the historic center into a large play area: urban amusement park, traditional games, retro games, inflatables, giant chess and checkers, historical costume parades, DJ sets, and foam parties. There are also areas dedicated to children, with entertainment, circus shows, and art workshops, and street food as a backdrop.
The Sports and Associations Festival showcases the city's many sports organizations, while the fireworks display at Parco Resistenza lights up the Corsico sky. The event also intertwines with the patronal feast of the Madonna della Cintura, the city's patron saint, and with civil ceremonies such as the awarding of merits. The Corsico Festival is the best occasion to discover the identity and vitality of this community in the southwest of Milan.
The 2026 edition of the Corsico Festival will again feature the format of the grand, widespread city celebration: a very rich schedule of events over three weeks, between the historic center and the neighborhoods. Detailed dates will be announced by the Municipality in the preceding months. Based on recent editions, the festival typically includes:
