The evening will be opened by the young singer from Campania, Valerie Edò. The event is organized by the municipal administration with the "Maria Santissima della Neve" Feast Committee and the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul, with Radio LatteMiele as media partner.

Casalbore, much more than a night of music

Those arriving for the concert will discover a village with a surprisingly long history. The territory has been inhabited continuously from the Eneolithic to the Roman age and preserves an Italic temple from the Samnite period, likely linked to the cult of the goddess Mefite, as well as a Roman bridge that popular tradition calls the "Devil's Bridge" and the Grotto of Saint Michael the Archangel, an ancient pilgrimage destination. The town is dominated by the Norman tower of the 12th century, a testament to the time when Casalbore became an autonomous settlement, surrounded by walls and a castle.

Casalbore also lies along the Pescasseroli-Candela sheep track and the route of the Via Traiana, making it a stop on the pilgrimage route known as the Via Francigena of the South. The agricultural vocation remains strong: cereals and, above all, the extra virgin olive oil DOP obtained from Ravece olives, one of the excellences of Irpinia.
