The Festival of Blessed Pascuccio
The Pascuccina Festival is the patronal festival of Guardea, a municipality in the Amerino area in the province of Terni, dedicated to Blessed Pascuccio, a figure venerated by the local community. Every year, in mid-June, the village celebrates its patron saint with a program that combines the religious dimension with a festive and popular one.
Between the Hermitage and the Square
The spiritual heart of the festival is the Franciscan hermitage of Santa Illuminata, where the solemn mass in honor of the Blessed is celebrated. The festival then moves to Piazza Pietro Panfili, in the center of the village, with live music, a food stand, and an artistic entertainment program designed for both adults and children.
The White Night
Among the most anticipated events is the white night, with shops open, animation, and shows that keep the village alive until late at night. The Pascuccina Festival is a precious opportunity to discover a less-traveled corner of southern Umbria and to experience the genuine hospitality of a village that recognizes itself in its traditions. The 2026 edition of the Pascuccina Festival in Guardea is scheduled from June 11th to 14th. How to get there
Guardea is located in the province of Terni, in the Amerino area. By car, it can be reached from the SS205 Amerina or the E45 with the exit towards Baschi/Guardea. The events take place in Piazza Pietro Panfili and at the hermitage of Santa Illuminata.
Times and costs
Free admission. Program spread over several days, from morning until late evening on the dates of the white night.
