Parla come che te magni is the event that celebrates the National Day of Dialects and Local Languages in Castelfranco Veneto, in the province of Treviso. The evening takes place in the prestigious setting of the Accademico Theatre, an 18th-century gem of the walled city.
Words, narration, and music
The show interweaves stories, anecdotes, and songs strictly in Venetian dialect, in a semi-serious journey through the beauties of the local language. On stage, the Nova Compagnia del Caretèo performs pieces from the Venetian singing tradition, along with actors and dialect enthusiasts from Castelfranco.
A community celebration
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Castelfranco Veneto in collaboration with the Nova Compagnia del Caretèo. At the end of the evening, as tradition dictates, there will be fritters and wine for everyone, in a convivial atmosphere that makes this event a small rite of identity for the city.

The 2026 edition of Parla come che te magni, the third, is scheduled for Saturday, January 17th at 8:45 PM at the Accademico Theatre of Castelfranco Veneto, on the occasion of the National Day of Dialects and Local Languages.
The evening features stories, anecdotes, and songs strictly in Venetian dialect, with the Nova Compagnia del Caretèo performing pieces from the Venetian singing tradition, joined by actors and dialect enthusiasts from Castelfranco.
