The districts challenge each other

The Palio Sportivo dei Rioni di Pedrengo is the event that annually transforms the municipality in the province of Bergamo into a large playground. Residents are divided into districts (rioni) that challenge each other in a series of contests focused on healthy competition, community bonding, and neighbourhood spirit.

Two weeks of games and sport

The palio takes place over about two weeks in June, involving citizens of all ages. The programme alternates non-competitive sports activities, traditional games, tournaments, and convivial moments: from card games to team challenges, each event is an opportunity to come together and build community.

A celebration for all of Pedrengo

Promoted by the Municipality of Pedrengo and included among the "Lombardia Style 2026" events, the palio is much more than a competition: it is a way to foster the spirit of belonging to the districts and to liven up the town's squares and sports facilities. Children, adults, and the elderly participate side-by-side, each representing their own district.
