In Alzano Lombardo, in Val Seriana (province of Bergamo), the Alzano Urban Festival brings street art to the heart of the town. In Piazza Caduti di Nassirya, an artist (or group) selected through a public tender creates a piece of urban art live, in front of the public.

Sport as a theme

The edition is part of the municipal project ABC 2026, dedicated to sport. The theme of the artwork is precisely sport in all its forms and expressions, interpreted through the painting techniques of street art — brushes, sprays, acrylics — with materials provided by the municipal administration.

A participatory event

Promoted by the Municipality of Alzano Lombardo, the Alzano Urban Festival is an example of how contemporary art can become an opportunity for participation and regeneration of public spaces.
