A century of the oratory in Ranica

C'è Festa in Oratorio is the festival that, every spring, fills the courtyard of the Oratorio San Filippo Neri in Ranica, a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in Val Seriana. In 2026, the event celebrates an important milestone: the 100th anniversary of the oratory (1926-2026), one hundred years of educational, sporting, and community activities serving the town.

Kitchen, pizzeria, and tables for everyone

The heart of the festival is conviviality at the table. Every evening begins with an aperitif at 7:00 PM, followed by the opening of the kitchen and pizzeria at 7:30 PM: dishes from the Bergamo tradition and pizza baked on-site, in a family atmosphere that brings together families, young people, and grandparents. During the anniversary weekends, the centenary lunches are held, by reservation, a meeting point for former youth leaders, volunteers, and parishioners.

Live music and fun

The evenings are accompanied by live music from bands like the Gianni Band, the Jam Band, and the Sweet Voice Band, as well as karaoke nights, amateur talent shows ("dilettanti allo sbaraglio" - amateurs taking their chances), and dancing, such as the country night with the Monster Country Group. For the little ones, from 8:00 PM, bouncy castles and a safe play area are set up.

A festival that tells the story of the community

More than just a sagra (local festival), C'è Festa in Oratorio is a collective ritual that marks the beginning of summer in Ranica. The centenary edition adds the value of memory to the festival: one hundred years of a place that has nurtured entire generations and continues to be the educational and social hub of the town.
