Festival Migliori di Così — Squarciagola

A festival born from the grassroots

The Festival Migliori di Così was born from the energy of a group of young people from Nembro, a municipality in the Province of Bergamo nestled in the middle Valle Seriana. The association that organizes it was formed at the beginning of 2023, bringing together young people between eighteen and twenty-seven years old who had participated in the first editions of the review. Today, a team of about ten people carries forward a cultural project that has become a point of reference for the entire valley.

The "Festival of Rebirths"

The subtitle is not accidental: every year the festival chooses a current theme and addresses it from multiple angles, mixing the high-level reflection of guests with the participatory dimension of the audience. Over the years, important names in Italian journalism and culture have passed through Nembro, and the themes addressed have touched on censorship, artificial intelligence, journalism, climate change, and generational conflicts.

From the Modernissimo to Parco Rotondo

Historically, the review took place between Piazza della Libertà and the Auditorium Modernissimo, spread over several summer evenings. Since 2025, the festival has transformed into an event concentrated over a single weekend and has found its home at Parco Rotondo, the green space on Via Stazione which becomes a small village of stages, gazebos, and installations for a few days.

The "Squarciagola" Edition

For 2026, the festival takes the title Squarciagola, exploring the theme of the word of love: "do not say a word that is not of love". Three days in which theatrical performances, art exhibitions, workshops, debates, and musical moments alternate from afternoon until night, always with free admission thanks to the support of the Municipality of Nembro. It is an opportunity to discover the Valle Seriana in its youngest and most culturally vibrant version.
