Milan's Flavors in the Contrada
The Ossobuco and Cotoletta Festival is dedicated to two of the most representative dishes of Milanese cuisine, revisited by the Contrada San Bernardino, one of the eight contradas of the Palio di Legnano (Province of Milan). In their venue at via Somalia 13, the contrada sets up a fully covered and heated hall, suitable for all ages.
The Menu
Chef Pippo, a familiar face at Legnano's festivals, works in the kitchen. Among the offerings:
- Cotoletta alla milanese with roasted potatoes
- Ossobuco with polenta
- Risotto alla milanese (saffron risotto), also available as a risotto + ossobuco combo
- Lombard appetizer and homemade desserts like tiramisu and apple pie
A Tradition That Continues
Like the other festivals of the Palio contradas, this event is also a moment of community life: the members of San Bernardino contrada manage the kitchen and service. The festival highlights the dishes of Lombard and Milanese tradition in a convivial setting, confirming the contradas' role in animating the social life of the Municipality of Legnano throughout the year. Takeaway service is also available.

From March 6th to 8th, 2026, the Contrada San Bernardino in Legnano celebrates two symbols of Milanese cuisine with the Ossobuco and Cotoletta Festival. In a covered and heated hall, guests can enjoy the great classics of Lombard tradition.
