Orta in Love is the event that brings the magic of romance to the heart of Orta San Giulio, one of the most charming villages in Piedmont and the Alto Piemonte region, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Orta. During Valentine's week, the historic center transforms into a setting dedicated to couples, where every alleyway and every glimpse of the lake becomes an opportunity to share a special moment.

The Path of the Heart and LovePoints

The central theme of the event is the Path of the Heart, an itinerary that winds through the village's cobbled streets and leads to the discovery of LovePoints: themed stations scattered throughout the most picturesque spots in the historic center, designed for taking romantic photos and selfies with the lake and ancient buildings as a backdrop. During the event, the streets come alive with floral decorations, red hearts, and art installations that create an intimate and photogenic atmosphere.

A village to experience as a couple

The event is also an opportunity to discover the charm of Orta San Giulio beyond Valentine's Day. From the lakefront, you can take a boat to the Isola di San Giulio with its Basilica, a destination filled with silence and spirituality, or stop at the village's restaurants and shops to taste local specialties. It is this combination of landscape, history, and hospitality that makes the experience more than just a simple Valentine's celebration.

Organization and Access

Orta in Love is organized by the Ascom Orta San Giulio delegation together with Confcommercio Alto Piemonte, with the patronage of the Municipality of Orta San Giulio. The event is free to attend and takes place in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. The installations and decorations can be visited freely throughout the duration of the event, making it accessible to those choosing to spend a day or an entire romantic weekend on Lake Orta.
