Oderzo's Carnival in the Square
The Opitergino Carnival is the event with which the Municipality of Oderzo, in the province of Treviso, celebrates Carnival in Piazza Grande. It is a celebration designed for children and families: an afternoon of entertainment that fills the central square with colors, music, and masks.
Games and "Famiglie in Maschera"
The program includes baby dance, face painting, giant soap bubbles, and various group games, in a festive and cheerful atmosphere. The highlight is the "Famiglie in Maschera" contest, with a costume parade and awards: families with the most original costumes are recognized, with recent editions awarding gift vouchers worth €50 for the ten most successful masks.

How to get there
Oderzo can be reached by car from the A28 motorway (Oderzo exit) or from the A27 via Conegliano. Oderzo train station is on the Venice-Udine line. The event takes place in Piazza Grande, in the pedestrianized historic center.
