About Bassano Opera Festival
Opera in Bassano del Grappa
The Bassano Opera Festival is the opera season of Bassano del Grappa (province of Vicenza), promoted by the Municipality and Operaestate Festival Veneto. Between late autumn and December, it stages major opera repertoire titles at the PalaBassano, featuring prominent orchestras, choirs, and casts.
A Veneto Opera Network
The season also stems from collaboration between Veneto cities that produce opera—particularly Bassano, Padova, and Rovigo through the L.I.V.E. project—and involves important orchestras such as the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto and, for some productions, the Orchestra and Choir of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste.
Between Tradition and New Productions
The program alternates cornerstones of Italian opera and international repertoire, with productions that focus on direction, sets, costumes, and lighting. The Opera Season confirms Bassano as a cultural hub in the Vicenza foothills, capable of bringing great musical theatre to a wide audience of enthusiasts.
Bassano Opera Festival — edition 2026
For 2026, a new edition of the Opera Season of the Bassano Opera Festival is expected, as usual in late autumn at the PalaBassano.
The season is part of Bassano del Grappa's operatic tradition and the collaboration between Veneto's opera cities. Titles, dates, and performers will be communicated in the preceding months through the festival's official channels.

Program to be announced. The titles, dates, and casts of the 2026 Opera Season of the Bassano Opera Festival will be announced by the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa and Operaestate in the months preceding the season's start (traditionally between November and December).

PalaBassano is located in Bassano del Grappa, a city served by a train station on the lines to Vicenza, Padova, and Trento, and accessible by car from the A31 Valdastico and the SS47 Valsugana.
Tickets
Tickets and season tickets are available through the Operaestate ticket office (Box Office) and official channels. Booking in advance is recommended.
