A distributed festival in Valle Camonica

OltreConfine is a distributed cultural festival that every spring enlivens Valle Camonica and Sebino with meetings on literature, art, and current affairs. Promoted by the Oltreconfine Association with the artistic direction of Stefano Malosso, it involves numerous municipalities in the valley, including Esine, in the province of Brescia, creating a program that hosts nationally renowned writers, directors, journalists, and intellectuals.

The Esine stop

The Esine event takes place in the council chamber of the municipality and is dedicated to contemporary Italian narrative. The meeting, titled "Life between the pages. A dialogue among the new voices of Italian narrative," brings together some of the most interesting authors of the country's young literary scene, in a discussion on how emerging writers tell and question today's society through their distinctive voices.

Culture open to all

All festival events are free admission subject to availability. The Esine stop is part of a broader program that, from April to June, brings leading guests to the municipalities of Valle Camonica and Sebino. For the public of the Brescia and Camonica area, it is a precious opportunity to meet authors up close and participate in a quality cultural debate, in a valley context that uses culture as a tool for community.
