The Oktonifest - Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated and vibrant summer events in the Valle del Sacco. For over two weeks, from July 1st to 17th, the town of Torrice, a hillside village in the province of Frosinone, comes alive every evening with flowing beer, traditional cuisine, live music, and activities for all ages. The name plays on the Bavarian Oktoberfest, but the formula here is entirely local: beer is served at popular prices—a 0.30 cl mug for just 2 euros throughout the festival—and instead of sausages and pretzels, you will find the most genuine dishes of the rural Lazio tradition.
