Novi Beer Festival

One of the most beloved festivals of the Modenese summer

When July heats up the Bassa sky, everyone in Novi di Modena knows where to gather: at the Parco della Resistenza, on Via C. Zoldi, where the Novi Beer Festival takes place. It's one of those village festivals that has become a highly anticipated event far beyond the municipality's borders, capable of attracting thousands of people from all over the province of Modena and the Emilia-Romagna region for eleven consecutive evenings of music, beer, and conviviality.

From an idea by ten young people to a summer classic

The festival's story is one of great friendship: "one day, between a beer and a laugh, ten young locals created the Novi Beer Festival." Since that first toast, a festival has grown that has already passed its quarter-century mark and is now managed by the Butasù 3.0 APS association, a social promotion organization founded to foster youth engagement in the area. The spirit remains the same as the origins: a festival made by volunteers, for the community.

Beer, food, and much more

The gastronomic heart of the festival is draft beer, complemented by cocktails, shots, and digestifs. In the kitchen, grilled meat reigns supreme – a true highlight of the offering – along with first and second courses to enjoy at your table, street food, and desserts. You can book a table, a convenience appreciated on the busiest evenings.

Music and entertainment every night

What makes the Novi Beer Festival special is its entertainment program: each evening features live concerts, stand-up comedy shows, dance performances, and, on weekends, DJ sets that continue until late at night. In recent years, Silent Disco has also been added, with hundreds of headphones and multiple DJs simultaneously, one of the most popular attractions for younger audiences.

A festival of solidarity

Beyond the fun, the event has a charitable soul: each year, part of the proceeds are donated to local associations that share goals of community development and integration. Attending the Novi Beer Festival therefore also means supporting local volunteer work, in true Emilian spirit.
