Vasto's white night

Notte in Centro is the summer 'white night' festival of the historic center of Vasto, a city in the province of Chieti overlooking the Costa dei Trabocchi in Abruzzo. For one July evening, the ancient town transforms into a massive open-air stage: music, shows, lights, and entertainment fill the squares and alleys until the early hours, with music permitted by special authorization until 4:00 AM.

Each edition spreads entertainment across the center's iconic landmarks: Piazza Rossetti, Piazza del Popolo, the Giardini d'Avalos, and Piazzale Histonium host live concerts, DJ sets, cabaret and comedy acts, children's shows, dance performances, and roving entertainment. The streets are lined with stalls and markets, while shops stay open late into the night with special offers and initiatives. It is an event designed for all ages, from families to young people, blending commerce, culture, and social life.

A signature event for the city

Born as the successor to the historic Vasto White Night, Notte in Centro is organized by the Consorzio Vasto in Centro together with the Municipality of Vasto and local merchants. In just a few years, it has become a defining moment for the city, showcasing the historic and commercial heritage of the center while drawing thousands of visitors from across the province of Chieti and the entire Abruzzo region.
