Solaro's big summer evening that keeps you awake until late at night
The “Nessun Dorma” Notte Bianca is one of the signature events of summer in Solaro, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan nestled between the Groane Park and the Alto Milanese area. Created to liven up July evenings, the event attracts families, young people, and curious visitors from neighboring towns in the Saronnese region each year, transforming the sports center on Corso Berlinguer and the town's streets into a large open-air festival space.
Reaching its thirteenth edition in 2026, the Notte Bianca has established itself over the years as a moment of collective gathering. The title “Nessun Dorma” perfectly captures the spirit of the evening: staying awake, strolling, chatting, and letting yourself be carried away by the atmosphere until the early hours. The event is organized by the Municipality of Solaro in collaboration with local associations and the local pastoral community.
The format follows the classic pattern of 'notti bianche' (all-night festivals) in the Lombardy region, adapted to Solaro's style:
The Notte Bianca is part of Solaro's rich calendar of Summer Festivals, which from June to July brings a series of gastronomic and popular events to the sports center on Corso Berlinguer. The “Nessun Dorma” evening represents its most lively and well-attended moment, capable of uniting taste, fun, and community spirit in a single night in this corner of Lombardy.
The 2026 edition of the “Nessun Dorma” Notte Bianca takes place on Saturday, July 11, confirming the now traditional appointment in the heart of Solaro's summer. The evening livens up the equipped area of the sports center on Corso Berlinguer, where, during the same weeks, other Solaro Summer Festivals follow one another, from the Sagra del Pesce (Fish Festival) to the Sagra del Baccalà (Cod Festival).
The detailed program for the evening will be announced by the Municipality of Solaro in the weeks preceding the event. The format includes live music, DJ sets, food stalls managed by local associations, and entertainment along the town's streets until late at night.
Equipped area of the sports center at Corso Berlinguer 2, Solaro (MI). Solaro is accessible by car from the Milano-Meda highway (Cesano Maderno/Solaro exit) and from the Saronno-Monza road. By train, the nearest station is Saronno, a few kilometers away.
