Storie di Cortile is the musical festival that every summer brings author songs and acoustic sounds to the most beautiful places in Saronno, in the province of Varese. Promoted by the Municipality of Saronno in collaboration with the association Musicampus, the festival chooses evocative and secluded spaces, such as the garden of Villa Gianetti, to offer concerts with an intimate and curated atmosphere.

Culture, meeting, and listening

The idea behind Storie di Cortile is simple and precious: to make music an opportunity for meeting and conscious listening. Far from large stages and big crowds, the festival prioritizes the quality of the offerings and the direct relationship between artists and the public, in evenings that combine music, words, and storytelling.

Folk and author music

The program ranges from author songs, folk, and acoustic music, with artists who make writing and interpretation their distinctive feature. In past editions, the festival has also hosted projects with an international scope, such as American folk, confirming the variety and care of its programming.

Villa Gianetti and the city's spaces

Villa Gianetti, a historic residence and cultural centre of Saronno, is one of the privileged settings for the festival. With Storie di Cortile, the Municipality of Saronno enhances these spaces by transforming them into open-air stages, as part of the rich program of Saronno Estate that enlivens the city during the summer. Free admission makes the festival accessible to the entire community of the province of Varese.
