The great feast of Potenza's patron saint concludes with Noemi's voice
In Potenza, the celebrations for the patron saint Saint Gerard are one of the most heartfelt moments of the year, and in 2026 they concluded with a grand free concert in Piazza Mario Pagano. On stage, igniting the evening, was the Roman singer-songwriter Noemi, who chose the Lucanian capital as the first stop of her 2026 summer tour.
Anticipation for the event was extremely high, and the city's response was overwhelming: the square sold out, and access was temporarily closed once maximum capacity was reached. Thousands of people filled the historic center for a show described as capable of blending elegance, vocal power, and emotion, through the greatest hits and most recent tracks of the artist, whose real name is Veronica Scopelliti.
Promoted by the Municipality of Potenza with the support of the Basilicata Region, the concert confirmed itself as the apex of the patronal calendar, capable of uniting devotion, popular celebration, and great music. A free event that transformed the feast of Saint Gerard into an event with regional appeal, sealing the bond between the city and its identity moments.
