The New Year's Concert has become a cherished tradition for the city of Messina: every January 1st at 7:00 PM, the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele opens the doors of its Main Hall to ring in the new year with a grand symphonic and operatic performance. The event, held in the municipality of Messina on the northeastern tip of Sicily, attracts a large and loyal audience every year.
