About San Giuseppe Exhibition

For over seventy years, the National Exhibition of San Giuseppe has been the most anticipated trade event in Casale Monferrato, in the heart of the Alessandria province. Ten days in March transform the Riccardo Coppo Exhibition Centre into a showcase of industry, commerce, craftsmanship, agriculture, and fine food and wine, featuring over 150 exhibitors from across Italy, a massive funfair, and a wealth of side events. It is one of the most beloved gatherings in Piedmont, attracting nearly one hundred thousand visitors each year.

A tradition spanning generations

The National Exhibition of San Giuseppe is the flagship trade event of Casale Monferrato, a city in the Monferrato area of the Piedmont region. Established in the post-war period and linked to the feast of the patron saint of workers, it has grown into one of the most significant trade fairs in North-West Italy. Starting with the 2025 edition, the exhibition, previously regional, was granted National status, marking a milestone that leads to its 77th edition in 2026.

What to see at the fair

For ten days, the Riccardo Coppo Exhibition Centre on Via Martiri di Nassiria hosts over 150 exhibitors from all over Italy. The sectors represented range from industry and commerce to craftsmanship, agriculture, and gastronomy, featuring Made in Italy products, furniture, building materials, cars, motorcycles, clothing, and regional and international food specialties.

  • Pavilions dedicated to Italian and international craftsmanship
  • Gastronomic areas featuring Piedmontese and Sardinian cuisine
  • Stands showcasing specialties from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Vietnam, and Romania
  • Space dedicated to weddings and event planning
  • Oktoberfest-themed area with Bavarian beer and food

Art, culture, and entertainment

Alongside the exhibition space, the event offers a packed calendar of activities: conferences on current cultural topics, live musical performances, and the historic Arteinfiera exhibition, dedicated to contemporary art and curated by critic Piergiorgio Panelli. In the square outside, one of Italy's largest funfairs is set up in Piazza d'Armi for family entertainment.

A landmark for the local area

With attendance figures ranging between 100,000 and 140,000 visitors over the ten days, the San Giuseppe Exhibition is much more than a trade fair: it is a meeting point for the entire Monferrato region and Piedmont, blending local tradition, culinary discovery, and innovation. Admission is free, with the visitor route reversed on alternate days to facilitate crowd flow.

San Giuseppe Exhibition — edition 2026
