The premier trade fair of the Monferrato region in Casale Monferrato
The National Exhibition of San Giuseppe is the flagship trade event of Casale Monferrato, a city in the Monferrato area of the Piedmont region. Established in the post-war period and linked to the feast of the patron saint of workers, it has grown into one of the most significant trade fairs in North-West Italy. Starting with the 2025 edition, the exhibition, previously regional, was granted National status, marking a milestone that leads to its 77th edition in 2026.
For ten days, the Riccardo Coppo Exhibition Centre on Via Martiri di Nassiria hosts over 150 exhibitors from all over Italy. The sectors represented range from industry and commerce to craftsmanship, agriculture, and gastronomy, featuring Made in Italy products, furniture, building materials, cars, motorcycles, clothing, and regional and international food specialties.
Alongside the exhibition space, the event offers a packed calendar of activities: conferences on current cultural topics, live musical performances, and the historic Arteinfiera exhibition, dedicated to contemporary art and curated by critic Piergiorgio Panelli. In the square outside, one of Italy's largest funfairs is set up in Piazza d'Armi for family entertainment.
With attendance figures ranging between 100,000 and 140,000 visitors over the ten days, the San Giuseppe Exhibition is much more than a trade fair: it is a meeting point for the entire Monferrato region and Piedmont, blending local tradition, culinary discovery, and innovation. Admission is free, with the visitor route reversed on alternate days to facilitate crowd flow.
The 77th National Exhibition of San Giuseppe brought Casale Monferrato to life for ten days, from March 13 to 22, 2026, under the theme 'Territories, Traditions, Tastes, and Lifestyles'. Over 150 exhibitors from across Italy showcased the best of industry, craftsmanship, and gastronomy, with new features such as the wedding area, the Oktoberfest-themed pavilion, and a section dedicated to clothing for medieval and Renaissance re-enactments.
On the gastronomic front, two dining areas offered Piedmontese and Sardinian cuisine from award-winning establishments, alongside international stands. The 29th edition of Arteinfiera, the contemporary art exhibition curated by Piergiorgio Panelli, was confirmed, as was the large funfair in Piazza d'Armi.
In Piazza d'Armi, one of Italy's largest funfairs, set up next to the Exhibition Centre for the duration of the show.
