Pittori in Contrada is one of the most characteristic events in Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, and for decades has distinguished the city's September. The initiative, organised by the Associazione Contrada Granda with the patronage of the Municipality, transforms the city's main street into a true open-air art gallery.
Canvases along Via XX Settembre
The works are displayed along the entire Via XX Settembre and in Piazza Cima, amidst the frescoed buildings and arcades that make this contrada one of the most evocative corners of the Veneto region. Dozens of painters, some from outside the region, exhibit their art and have the opportunity to sell some of their works to visitors.
