The event is the local interpretation of the major international Music Festival that fills cities across Europe with music every year around June 21st: a widespread, free, and open-air festival designed to take music out of concert halls and directly to the people.

A week of widespread concerts

For an entire week, the historic center of Acqui Terme transforms into an open-air stage. Concerts take place in the city's most evocative locations: the Roman Theatre, the churches of Santo Spirito and Santa Maria, Piazza Italia, and the streets of the center. The program weaves together diverse genres and ensembles, from local choral groups and polyphonic choirs to bands, chamber ensembles, folk music, and singer-songwriters, featuring local artists and musical associations.

From local choirs to Yo Yo Mundi

Among the most beloved protagonists of the festival are Yo Yo Mundi, the historic band from Acqui and a key reference point in Italian folk and singer-songwriter music, who regularly return to perform in their hometown. Joining them are the Corale Santa Cecilia, the Coro Mozart, the Corale Città di Acqui Terme, the Corpo Bandistico Acquese, and numerous local groups and soloists, in a program that celebrates the rich musical life of the Monferrato region.
