The Murgia Dream Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in Minervino Murge, a town in the Alta Murgia area of the Barletta-Andria-Trani province, in Apulia. In just a few years, it has become, as Mayor Lalla Mancini noted, "a highly awaited appointment": an event designed to showcase the local territory, culture, traditions, and identity in a modern and inclusive way.
The core theme of the event is captured in its name: "the dream." This concept comes to life primarily through the evocative presence of hot air balloons, which take flight at sunset to color the sky over Minervino, allowing visitors to admire the Alta Murgia landscape from above. It is the festival's signature image, the one that has made the event truly recognizable and capable of attracting crowds from across the region.

The stated goal is to promote inclusivity and transform the festival into a tool for tourism and cultural promotion, helping to introduce Minervino and the Alta Murgia to an ever-growing audience.
The Murgia Dream Festival is a recurring summer event in Minervino Murge, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. The official dates and program for the 2026 edition have not yet been communicated.
