Walking at the Foot of the Friulian Dolomites

Every year, as winter draws to a close, Fanna – a small municipality at the foot of the Friulian Dolomites in the province of Pordenone – fills with walkers. It's the day of the Muflon Walk, the non-competitive walk that for almost forty years has attracted enthusiasts of all ages, ready to discover the trails and landscapes of the Friulian foothills on foot.

Four Routes for All Fitness Levels

The beauty of the Muflon Walk is its accessibility: the event offers four routes of 3.5, 6, 10, and 17 kilometers, designed to satisfy both those looking for a relaxing family stroll and those who want to challenge themselves on more demanding distances. The routes wind through hills, woods, and picturesque corners of the Fanna territory, offering glimpses of the mountains and the Friulian countryside.

A Tradition of the Pro Loco

Organized by the Walking Group of Pro Loco Fanna, the walk is a FIASP event open to all registered participants. The start is from Casa Marchi, on Via Montelieto, with the possibility of registering on-site in the early morning hours. There are refreshment points along the routes, and the atmosphere is the convivial and sporting one typical of Friulian walks, where effort blends with the pleasure of being together in the open air.

Sport, Nature, and Community

More than a race, the Muflon Walk is a celebration of movement and discovering the territory. For those who love walking and the landscapes of the Friulian Dolomites, it's the perfect opportunity to start the hiking season in company, while supporting the work of the Pro Loco Fanna volunteers.
