A festival dedicated to the mountains
The Mountain Festival is the summer event that Serina, a municipality in the Upper Brembana Valley in the province of Bergamo, dedicates to the alpine world. It takes place in mid-August at the town's Parco Alpini and offers, for two days, a program that combines sport, culture, and fun for all ages.
Climbing, workshops, and stalls
The heart of the festival is the climbing wall, open on both days, where adults and children can try their hand under the guidance of experts. Around it, themed stalls, games, and workshops liven up the park, in an atmosphere that puts the passion for the mountains and an introduction to its disciplines at the center.
Encounters and alpine culture
The event also makes space for culture, with dedicated evenings and encounters: among the documented events, the encounter with mountaineer Mario Curnis in the cloister of the Convent. It is a way to tell the stories of those who have lived and climbed the mountains, and to renew the bond between Serina, in the province of Bergamo, and its high-altitude territory, preserving the memory and alpine tradition of the Brembana Valley.

For 2026, the Mountain Festival returns to the Parco Alpini in Serina in its usual mid-August slot. The event confirms the formula that combines the climbing wall, themed stalls, games, and workshops with cultural evenings dedicated to mountains and mountaineering.
