Mostra Mercato dello Zafferano di Cascia

The 24th edition of the Mostra Mercato dello Zafferano di Cascia took place between late October and early November 2025 in the historic centre of the village, during the flowering period of "crocus sativus". The event featured the producers' market with the purest saffron and local products from the Valnerina valley.

Alongside the market, the edition offered tastings, show cooking, thematic conferences, educational workshops, music, and visits to the saffron fields. Organised by the Associazione Produttori Zafferano Purissimo di Cascia, in the province of Perugia, the exhibition confirmed Cascia's role as the capital of one of Umbria's most prized spices.

The 2025 edition (24th) featured the market of saffron and local product producers, tastings and show cooking, thematic conferences, educational workshops, music, and guided visits to the saffron fields in the historic centre of Cascia.
