The reign of the Marrone del Monfenera IGP

The Mostra Mercato dei Marroni del Monfenera is the great autumn festival of Pederobba, in the province of Treviso, dedicated to the Marrone del Monfenera IGP. This prized chestnut, grown on the slopes of the Monfenera hill overlooking the Piave valley, is a Protected Geographical Indication product that represents the gastronomic identity of the foothills area.

A tradition half a century long

Organised by the Pro Loco of Pederobba, the producers' association, and the Alpini group, the market exhibition has been held since 1974 and is one of the longest-running autumn sagre in the Marca Trevigiana. The 50th edition took place in 2025: an important milestone that testifies to the festival's deep roots in the local calendar.

Roasted chestnuts, flavours, and celebration

The heart of the event is the food stand with cooked chestnuts, roasted chestnuts, seasonal dishes, and local typical products. The festival takes place over the Sundays in October, creating a long autumn event that attracts gourmets and visitors from all over the Veneto region. The event is part of the "Delizie d'Autunno" (Autumn Delights) circuit of the province of Treviso.
