The ancient apple festival of Monfumo
The Festa della Mela is the autumn event in Monfumo, a small town in the Asolo hills in the province of Treviso, dedicated to the ancient Monfumo apple, a local variety recovered and promoted by the community. The event takes place in the Town Hall square, in via Chiesa, and is organized by Pro Loco Monfumo together with the Associazione Mele Antiche Monfumo and local organizations.
Apple flavours and local products
The heart of the festival is the food stand, with apple-based dishes and local specialties: wine, cider, cheeses, cured meats, jams and apple and pear juices. An evening dedicated to ancient apples and the beauty of the territory, with cider tastings, completes the cultural offering.
Expomela and music
The second Sunday of the event hosts Expomela, the outdoor craft market, accompanied by DJ sets, live music groups, and other events. The Festa della Mela is today one of the most recognizable showcases of Monfumo's fruit production and rural identity.
Festa della Mela — edition 2026
The 41st edition of the Festa della Mela in Monfumo is scheduled from September 26 to October 5, 2026, at the Town Hall square in via Chiesa. The festival celebrates the ancient Monfumo apple with a food stand curated by Pro Loco and local associations.
The program includes apple-based dishes and products, cider tastings, and on the second Sunday, the Expomela craft market, with DJ sets and live music groups. An evening dedicated to ancient apples and the territory completes the offering.
