About Moonlight Half Marathon
Running by Moonlight on the Venetian Coast
The Moonlight Half Marathon is one of the most evocative running races on the Venetian calendar. Organized by Venicemarathon, it takes place in Jesolo, in the Province of Venice, at sunset and in the evening, offering participants a unique experience under the night sky of the coast.
A Course Through Pine Forest, Sea, and Historic Center
With start and finish in Piazza Milano, the route crosses some of the most characteristic landscapes of the area: the pine forest, the seafront, the beach, and the historic center of Jesolo Paese, running alongside the Sile river. A varied itinerary that alternates nature, sea, and city in a single evening race.
Races for Everyone, from the Half Marathon to the Family Run
The program includes the competitive half marathon of 21 km, the 10K, a rollerblade race (Rollerblade Moonlight), and the Family Run of about 3 km, non-competitive and open to children and families. Around the race, the "Moonlight Village" enlivens Piazza Milano with activities and entertainment.
Moonlight Half Marathon — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Moonlight Half Marathon, the 15th, will be run on Saturday, May 16, with start and finish at Piazza Milano, organized by Venicemarathon.
The night course runs through the pine forest, seafront, beach, and the historic center of Jesolo Paese, along the Sile river. Scheduled events include the half marathon (start 8:00 PM), the 10K (7:30 PM), the Rollerblade Moonlight rollerblade race, and the 3 km Family Run. The "Moonlight Village" enlivens Piazza Milano on May 15 and 16.

By car from the A4 motorway, exit Noventa di Piave-San Donà and take the SS14 towards Jesolo; by train to San Donà di Piave-Jesolo with a bus to the lido.
