Three days of street food, craft beer, and live music at De André Park in Crespellano
Mood & Food is the festival dedicated to street food that enlivens Crespellano every summer, one of the hamlets that make up the Municipality of Valsamoggia, in the province of Bologna, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. Founded in 2022 on the initiative of the Pro Loco Crespellano, in just a few years the festival has become one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the summer season in the Bolognese plain.
Fabrizio De André Park transforms for three days into a large outdoor convivial space, where street food is the true protagonist. Among the stands, you'll find regional specialties from all over Italy, accompanied by a selection of craft beers curated in collaboration with Unionbirrai, as well as cocktails and drinks of all kinds.
Mood & Food stands out for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere: entry is free and the park offers ample outdoor spaces to sit, eat, and listen to music. The evenings are punctuated by concerts and DJ sets, while in the afternoon and early evening there are plenty of entertainment and activities designed for younger audiences. Particular attention is also paid to inclusivity, with a stand reserved for gluten-free products.
The festival is entirely organized by the Pro Loco Crespellano, with the support of the Municipality of Valsamoggia, the Rocca dei Bentivoglio Foundation, and local entities committed to the enhancement of the Hills of Bologna and Modena. It's an opportunity to discover this corner of Emilia-Romagna by combining good food, conviviality, and music.
The 2026 edition of Mood & Food takes place from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Fabrizio De André Park in Crespellano, Valsamoggia. As every year, the festival offers street food from various Italian regions, a selection of craft beers, cocktails, guided tastings, and live music every evening, in addition to the funfair and activities for children. Entry is free.
The detailed program for the evenings, including band and DJ names, is usually announced by Pro Loco Crespellano in the weeks leading up to the event on their official channels and the festival's Facebook page.
