The city becomes a widespread stage for classical and contemporary music
Monza Music Meetings is the festival that turns Monza, the capital of Brianza, into a city of concerts. Music leaves traditional halls and reaches the most diverse urban spaces: the Royal Villa, the Cathedral, cultural institutions, but also the streets and shops of the historic center. It's an idea of a widespread festival that intertwines great music with the city's daily life.
The festival is promoted by the Orchestra Canova together with the Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena and the association Musicamorfosi, in collaboration with the Municipality of Monza. The program focuses on the dialogue between classical and contemporary music, with concerts spanning different eras and styles. Among the most evocative events are the concerts in the Cathedral, where the acoustics and solemnity of the place enhance the listening experience.
Dedicated to the dialogue between music, community, and cultural transformation, Monza Music Meetings is not just a concert series, but a project that connects artists, spaces, and citizens. The choice to bring music into the streets and shops brings the audience closer and makes the festival a moment of collective participation. For Monza and Brianza, it is an event that confirms the cultural vitality of the territory.
The 2026 edition of Monza Music Meetings is the fourth of the series and runs from March 15 to 29, dedicated to the dialogue between music, community, and cultural transformation. Organized by the Orchestra Canova with the Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena and Musicamorfosi, the festival offers concerts in Monza's most evocative spaces, from the Royal Villa to the Cathedral, as well as cultural institutions and the streets of the center.
