Every December, Il Sacro in Musica fills the churches of Sesto San Giovanni, in the Metropolitan City of Milan, with music. The review, organized by the Municipality, brings together local choirs and numerous guest ensembles in a calendar of concerts that accompany the wait for Christmas, featuring sacred music, gospel, and traditional carols.

A Travelling Review Across the Neighbourhoods

The characteristic feature of Il Sacro in Musica is its travelling nature: the concerts are held in various churches scattered throughout the city's different neighbourhoods, enhancing the religious heritage and involving the entire community. From the Church of the Assumption to the Church of the Resurrection of Jesus, from the parish of Santa Maria Ausiliatrice to other venues, each event brings music to the heart of the Sesto districts.
