The largest Christmas market in the Veneto region, amidst the lights of Lake Garda
The Mercatino di Natale di Lazise is one of the most evocative and popular Christmas events on Lake Garda. Every year, between the end of November and Epiphany, the medieval village of Lazise, in the province of Verona, transforms into an enchanted village overlooking the water, hosting the largest Christmas market in the Veneto region.
The market stalls, over a hundred of them, are spread across Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Lungolago Marconi, and the streets of the historic center. Artisans, creatives, local producers, and food stands offer gift ideas, decorations, specialties, and typical products, in an atmosphere warmed by the lights and scents of Christmas.
Among the most popular attractions, the small church of San Nicolò hosts an artistic nativity scene, while Parco Pra' del Principe features a large ice-skating rink. There are also tastings, itinerant shows, and entertainment for families, making the market a perfect destination for both adults and children.
The setting of the medieval village, with its small harbor, Scaliger walls, and castle, makes the Lazise market a true winter postcard of Garda, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Veneto region and beyond.
For the 2026-2027 Christmas season, the Mercatino di Natale di Lazise will once again illuminate the medieval village on Lake Garda, reprising the formula that makes it the largest in the Veneto region. The stalls of the over one hundred exhibitors will be spread across Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Lungolago Marconi, and the streets of the historic center.
The precise dates for the 2026-2027 edition will be officially announced by the Municipality of Lazise in the autumn months. The usual structure includes openings on the weekends of late November and December, followed by continuous opening on the days between Christmas and Epiphany, with an artistic nativity scene in the church of San Nicolò, an ice-skating rink at Parco Pra' del Principe, tastings, and itinerant shows.
