Christmas lights up on Garda
Natale a Bardolino is one of the most spectacular Christmas markets on Lake Garda. From the end of November until January 6th, the lakefront and historic center of Bardolino (province of Verona, Veneto) welcome thousands of visitors into a large village of lights and festive atmospheres.
Chalets, lights, and attractions
The characteristic wooden chalets animate the lakefront with typical products, gift ideas, and quality crafts. There is also an ice-skating rink on the water, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, Santa Claus's interactive sleigh, a children's train, and thousands of LED lights that illuminate the historic center. At Parco Carrara Bottagisio, the "La Vela del Gusto" food area offers local specialties.
Tradition and spirituality
Alongside the festivities, moments of tradition and spirituality: the underwater nativity scene set up in the ports of Bardolino and Cisano, Christmas masses, and the patron saint's feast day of Saint Nicholas on December 6th. The event is organized by the Bardolino TOP Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Bardolino.
Natale a Bardolino — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Natale a Bardolino returns to light up the Garda lakefront from the second half of November until Epiphany 2027. The attractions that have made the Christmas village famous are confirmed: wooden chalets with typical products, an ice-skating rink on the water, a Ferris wheel, carousels, a children's train, and the evocative underwater nativity scene in the ports of Bardolino and Cisano.
Programme Natale a Bardolino 2026
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Bardolino TOP Foundation in the weeks preceding the event. As per tradition, the following are planned: the inauguration of the market at Parco Carrara Bottagisio, the feast of Saint Nicholas on December 6th with Holy Mass and the lighting of the tree in Piazza Matteotti, Christmas masses, the placement of the underwater nativity scene, and the big New Year's Eve party on the lakefront on December 31st.

How to get there
Bardolino is reachable by car from the A4 motorway (exits Affi or Peschiera del Garda) and by train with a bus connection from the stations of Peschiera del Garda or Verona Porta Nuova.
