The event is named after the Malatesta roads, the powerful family that dominated these territories between Romagna and Marche in the Middle Ages.
The Route
The motorcycle tour unfolds through the green hills of the Mondaino area and its surroundings. Along the route, participants cross several towns in Romagna and the nearby Marche region, rediscovering rural landscapes, scenic ridges, and ancient villages once linked to the Malatesta lordship, before returning to the circular Piazza Maggiore of Mondaino.
A Typical Day
The event is designed as a convivial Sunday open to all two-wheel enthusiasts. The morning is dedicated to registrations in Piazza Maggiore, followed by the start of the motorcycle tour. Upon return, around lunchtime, the square comes alive with lunch for all participants and musical entertainment.

How to Get There
Mondaino is located in the hinterland of the Province of Rimini, near the border with Marche. By car or motorcycle, it can be reached from the Adriatic coast (A14 motorway exit at Riccione or Cattolica) by heading inland along the Valconca. The nearest train station is Cattolica-San Giovanni-Gabicce, from which you continue by road.
Registration and Meeting Point
The meeting point and registration are in Piazza Maggiore, in the historic center of Mondaino. The participation fee is around €20 and includes a t-shirt, gadget, lunch, and drink. The event is open to all enthusiasts.
