Edition 2025 — Maiale d'Autore

The 2025 edition of Maiale d'Autore was held from May 9 to 11 in the historic center of Villafranca d'Asti. The festival featured tasting dinners, food stands from the Valtriversa Pro Loco, live music, craft and food markets, a walk with Legambiente, and a conference on pairings between honey and cured meats.

In 2025, Maiale d'Autore brought Villafranca d'Asti to life from May 9 to 11. The event opened on Friday evening with a themed dinner paired with wines from young producers (€30), continuing on Saturday and Sunday with the Pro Loco gastronomic festival and plenty of live music. The tasting menu included pork salad with apple, prosciutto parcels, rigatoni with saffron and bacon, oven-baked pork ribs, and honey semifreddo.

Sunday also featured craft and food markets, a walk with the Legambiente circle, and a conference dedicated to pairings between honey and cured meats, confirming Maiale d'Autore's commitment to combining taste, territory, and the food and wine culture of the Asti Monferrato.

Prices

Friday dinner paired with wines from young producers: €30 per person. Saturday and Sunday food stands are open to the public.
