The food and wine walk through the districts and hills of Cepagatti
Magn'... e camin', the district magnalonga, is a food and wine walking tour held in Cepagatti, a town in the province of Pescara, nestled in the heart of the Abruzzo hills. This initiative, promoted by the Pro Loco of Cepagatti, combines exploring the territory on foot with the pleasure of fine dining, following a route that meanders through the town's hamlets and countryside.
The trail leads participants along the hills surrounding the town, passing through the charming villages of Rapattoni Superiore and Contrada Stella before returning to the town center. Along the way, there are several food and wine stops where you can sample local products and excellent Abruzzo wines, blending taste, nature, and panoramic views of the Pescara countryside.
The walk is more than just gastronomy: the experience is enriched by live music, entertainment, and the warm, social atmosphere typical of Pro Loco events. The meeting point is the Chiesa della Madonna del Carmine, the starting point of the loop that brings walkers back into the heart of Cepagatti.
Launched in 2025 to mark the National Day of Pro Loco of Italy, Magn'... e camin' has quickly established itself as a highlight of the Cepagatti summer, showcasing the local districts and culinary traditions. The 'magnalonga' concept—eating while walking—allows you to experience the Abruzzo hillside landscape at a slow, immersive pace, rediscovering hidden corners of the municipality.
Advance booking is mandatory to participate. Please contact the Pro Loco of Cepagatti via the dedicated phone number or through the association's official social media channels.
