In the heart of the Agro Nolano, the Municipality of Cicciano (Metropolitan City of Naples, Campania) participates every spring in “Il Maggio dei Libri”, the national campaign promoted by the Ministry of Culture’s Centre for Books and Reading to highlight the social value of literature. The Cicciano edition, titled “One town, a thousand stories,” turns every Friday in May into an event dedicated to books, dialogue, and the discovery of local identity.

A festival in the Council Chamber

The meetings are held in the Town Hall Council Chamber, which serves as a literary salon open to the community. Each evening focuses on an author from the Naples hinterland, invited to discuss their work and engage with the public.
