How to get there
Cannero Riviera is located on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, along the Sempione state road (SS34) between Verbania and Cannobio. By car, it can be reached from the A26 motorway (Verbania/Gravellona Toce exit), then continuing along the lake. By train, the most convenient station is Verbania-Pallanza, from which you can continue by bus or car; alternatively, you can arrive via the lake using the Navigazione Lago Maggiore ferries.
Practical tips
The Luminaria takes place at dusk: it is advisable to arrive early to find a spot along the lakefront to admire the candles on the water. Parking in the center is limited on festival evenings, so it is better to plan on walking.
