Metal, hard rock and craft beer at Parco Colonie Padane
Luppolo in Rock is Cremona's festival dedicated to metal and hard rock, hosted at the Parco delle Colonie Padane, a large green area along the Po River. Born to unite the passion for the hardest music with that for craft beer, it has become one of the most anticipated summer events for fans of the genre in Lombardy and throughout Italy.
The lineup spans all nuances of metal: from classic heavy to power, from gothic to death to black metal, alternating international headliners of great appeal with cult acts and emerging bands from the Italian scene. Each edition builds a rich and varied lineup, capable of satisfying the most diverse tastes of the metal audience.
In addition to paid concerts, the festival offers free areas with DJ sets, food stands, food & drink, themed markets, and craft stalls. Craft beer is the star, in line with the event's name, and contributes to creating the festive and convivial atmosphere that characterizes the event.
With its formula that intertwines big names and underground offerings, Luppolo in Rock has established itself as one of the main metal festivals in northern Italy, bringing thousands of enthusiasts to the Province of Cremona every summer and contributing to the city's summer season with a strong and recognizable musical identity.
The 8th edition of Luppolo in Rock takes place from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Parco delle Colonie Padane in Cremona. The format includes three days of paid concerts, alongside free areas with DJ sets, food & drink, themed markets, and craft stands.
The 2026 lineup features an impressive metal roster: among the main acts are Venom, headliner of the closing day, Dirkschneider, Stratovarius, Overkill, Marduk, Rotting Christ, Death SS, The 69 Eyes, Crimson Glory, Pino Scotto, Cripple Bastards, and numerous other international and Italian bands spread across the three days.
