Three days of liscio, dancing, and orchestras in Piazzale Kennedy for the Notte Rosa
The Liscio Street Parade is one of the most heartfelt events of the Rimini summer: three days of music, dancing, and shows that liven up Piazzale Kennedy, in the heart of Rimini, coinciding with the famous Notte Rosa, the "New Year's Eve of Summer" of the Romagna Riviera. Promoted by Materiali Musicali and Le Sirene Danzanti, with the support of the Municipality of Rimini and the Emilia-Romagna Region, the event is completely free to enter.
Born from an idea by Giordano Sangiorgi, the soul of MEI (Meeting of the Independents), the event aims to bring Romagnola liscio back to the squares, the dance and music that have made this land famous throughout Italy. From mazurka to waltz, from polka to the inevitable Romagna Mia, liscio here is much more than a musical genre: it is a collective ritual, a way of being together that spans generations. The Liscio Street Parade turns it into a contemporary festival, capable of mixing great traditional orchestras with DJ sets and Caribbean influences.
The format combines the great historical names of liscio with the new generations, such as the Orchestra Santa Balera, defined as the "Liscio Gen Z". Alongside the orchestras, the dance schools of Romagna parade, with spectacular shows of dozens of couples, while the evening continues until late at night with DJ sets that blend liscio and Caribbean rhythms. It is a popular festival that enhances the territory of Rimini and the entire Emilia-Romagna as the Italian capital of entertainment and dance tradition.
The event takes place in Piazzale Kennedy, a short walk from the sea and the historic center of Rimini, in the province of Rimini (RN). The evenings are held in the square, outdoors, with free admission for everyone.
From June 21st to 23rd, 2026, the third edition of the Liscio Street Parade returns to Rimini, at Piazzale Kennedy, the great festival of the Romagnola dance hall linked to the Notte Rosa. Three evenings of music, dancing, and shows with free admission, in a skillful mix between traditional liscio and Caribbean influences in step with the times.
The event, conceived by Giordano Sangiorgi, is promoted by Materiali Musicali together with Le Sirene Danzanti, with the support of the Municipality of Rimini and the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Piazzale Kennedy is located in the heart of Rimini, near the sea. By train: Rimini station, about a 15-minute walk away. By car: exit Rimini Sud or Rimini Nord from the A14 motorway, then head towards the center/sea. Federico Fellini Airport of Rimini-Miramare is a few kilometers away.
