Edition 2025 — Lentini and its Flavours
2025 Edition
The first edition of Lentini and its Flavours was held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at the Circolo Alaimo in Lentini (SR). The program featured a blend of cooking shows, workshops, and two thematic talks focusing on wine and bread.
Friday, May 31, at 6:00 PM, opened with the conference "Ancient Roots: Ancient Vines and Grapes of Lentini", accompanied by a guided tasting of wines made from ancient grape varieties. Saturday, June 1, also at 6:00 PM, the second talk "The Bread of Lentini: Tradition, Innovation, and Communication" explored bread as a unifying element and cultural symbol of the region.
Key participants included chef Massimiliano Romano (Zagarà), sommeliers Francesco Carbone and Alessandro Lieto, historian Rosa Savarino, baker Gabriele Oliveri, and food technologist Renzo Turco, with contributions from journalists and marketing experts.

Friday, May 31, 2025 — Wine
- 6:00 PM — Conference "Ancient Roots: Ancient Vines and Grapes of Lentini", dedicated to the historical and cultural value of the vine in the Lentini area and the prospects for sustainable revival.
- Guided tasting of wines made from ancient grape varieties.
Saturday, June 1, 2025 — Bread
- 6:00 PM — Talk "The Bread of Lentini: Tradition, Innovation, and Communication", with food technologist Renzo Turco, baker Gabriele Oliveri, and marketing expert Paolo Abbandonato.
Throughout the two days, there were cooking shows, workshops, and performances, featuring live music by the band I Replay.
