Lammwochen vom Villnösser Brillenschaf Festival

The 11th edition of the Lammwochen vom Villnösser Brillenschaf was held from October 3 to 12, 2025, in Val di Funes, in the municipality of Funes/Villnöß (province of Bolzano). The valley's restaurants and partner venues throughout South Tyrol offered dishes based on meat from the Villnösser Brillenschaf, a Slow Food Presidium sheep breed.

Among the highlights of the edition was an alpine-style aperitif with small tastings of local specialties served at participating restaurants. The side program included a guided hike along the farmers' trail, discovering mountain agriculture products, and a special afternoon for families at the Puez-Odle Nature Park Visitor Center, dedicated to working with the wool of this prized breed.
