A night of love in the Montefeltro village

The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy is the national event that, every year around the summer solstice, transforms the villages in the circuit into stages dedicated to love and beauty. In Monte Grimano Terme, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, the evening is organised by the Pro Loco (local tourism association) and enlivens the streets and squares of the historic centre with live music, shows, art, and a dinner with a romantic menu, culminating in the most anticipated moment: the midnight kiss.

The spa village of the upper Valconca

Nestled on a hill in the upper Conca valley, Monte Grimano Terme offers a panorama stretching from the Adriatic Riviera to the hinterland of the Montefeltro. The village, which is part of the national club of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, retains its original snail-shaped urban layout, with narrow alleys climbing towards the summit dominated by the Civic Tower, eighteen metres high and dating back to the 15th century. Its origins date back to the 10th century, and its history intertwines with that of the Montefeltro, Malatesta, and the Papal States: the ideal setting for an evening that combines romance and village identity.

Atmosphere and moments of the evening

The festival takes place outdoors, in the squares and gardens of the village. Along the route, you'll find craft markets, shared aperitifs, romantic dinners set up in various corners of the town, musical performances, and shows. Traditionally, the evening also includes guided tours of the historic centre and themed moments, culminating at midnight with a symbolic kiss and a final surprise.

A network event across Italy

The event is part of a large choral event promoted by the association I Borghi più Belli d'Italia (The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy), which on the same night involves over one hundred and fifty villages from all regions, from Valle d'Aosta to Sicily. Participating in the Romantic Night in Monte Grimano Terme therefore means experiencing a national event, yet immersed in the intimate and welcoming atmosphere of a small village in the Marche region.
