A festival for children, teens, and families
The Kids Family Festival is the event that in Riccione, on the Romagna Riviera in the province of Rimini, transforms Piazzale Ceccarini into the capital for children and teens. For three days, the city's main square becomes an open-air experiential arena where vacation, culture, and discovery intertwine in a shared experience between parents and children. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Riccione and organized by the agency Ea Comunicazione Eventi, and is part of the program of the famous Pink Night, the great New Year's Eve of the Adriatic summer.
Science, pedagogy, and entertainment
The festival combines entertainment and educational content. On stage, science communicators, pedagogists, and psychologists take turns addressing the major themes of growth with accessible language: from the conscious use of technology to managing adolescent behavior, from social skills to school. Alongside talks for parents, evening shows and musical moments directly involve the younger audience.
The interactive Village
The pulsating heart of the event is the permanent Village, open for the entire duration of the festival, which enlivens the days with:
- creative workshops and manual activities;
- themed make-up stations;
- guided play areas curated by major brands in the kids' world;
- parades and meet-and-greets with the most beloved costume characters for children.
Part of the Pink Night
Included in the program of Riccione's Pink Night, the Kids Family Festival represents the family-friendly soul of a celebration that involves the entire Emilia-Romagna city with music, shows, and widespread initiatives. Thanks to the collaboration with Federalberghi Riccione and the Family Hotels, the event is particularly aimed at families on vacation, offering a rich and completely free program.
Kids Family Festival — edition 2026
For its 2026 summer edition, the Kids Family Festival returns to Riccione from June 18 to 20 in Piazzale Ceccarini, as part of the Pink Night. Three days that combine pop science, pedagogy, and entertainment, with a permanent Village open throughout the event and a parade of characters from the Warner Bros. Discovery world. All events are free admission.
Programme Kids Family Festival 2026
Thursday, June 18
- 9:00 PM — Vincenzo Schettini, "La Fisica che ci piace" (The Physics We Like): the web's most beloved professor brings a science show to the square with experiments, scientific curiosities, and reflections on the laws of nature.
Friday, June 19
- from 8:30 PM — Alberto Pellai and Michele Liuzzi guide parents and families on growth topics: social skills, school, adolescent behavior, and conscious use of technology.
Saturday, June 20
- 9:00 PM — Osvaldo Poli, psychologist and psychotherapist, offers a moment of reflection for parents and educators.
- 10:00 PM — K-pop mania: a show with seven singers and dancers performing hits by BTS, Blackpink, Twice, and current stars.
Village (daily)
Creative workshops, themed make-up stations, guided play areas curated by major kids' brands, and a parade of costume characters: Gumball and Darwin, Geronimo Stilton, The Smurfs, 44 Cats, Ladybug, and Cat Noir.

Where
Piazzale Ceccarini, in the center of Riccione (province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna). All events take place outdoors in the square.
How to get there
By train: Riccione station on the Adriatic line, a few minutes' walk from Piazzale Ceccarini. By car: Riccione exit from the A14 highway. During the Pink Night, it is advisable to use peripheral parking and public transport due to the high attendance.

Free entry to all events and Village activities.
Tips
As this is a family event included in the Pink Night, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot for the evening shows in Piazzale Ceccarini.
