About Jesolo Carnival

The Jesolo Carnival enlivens the beach and hamlets of Jesolo with masked parties for children and the grand parade of floats along Via Bafile, the famous pedestrian street of the seaside resort. Part of the Metropolitan Carnival of Venice, it features inflatables, carousels, entertainment, live music, and dozens of participants including majorettes and walking groups. A widespread celebration that colors the Venetian coast with confetti between February and March.

Carnival on the beach

When Carnival arrives, Jesolo doesn't hold back: the Jesolo Carnival transforms the beach and hamlets of the seaside resort in the province of Venice into a succession of masked parties, inflatables, carousels, and confetti. The event is part of the broader Metropolitan Carnival of Venice, the network that brings together the carnivals of the territory around the historic and very famous one of the Serenissima.

Masked parties and grand parade

The program unfolds over several days. It starts with masked parties for children in the squares and hamlets — from Cortellazzo to Piazza I Maggio, up to Piazza Milano — with free inflatables and carousels, balloons, entertainment, and live music. The highlight is the parade of floats along Via Bafile, the long pedestrian street that crosses the beach: dozens of participants, majorettes, and walking groups accompany the floats from Piazza Aurora to Piazza Marconi, where the awards ceremony takes place.

A party for families

Designed primarily for children, the Jesolo Carnival is a free event for all ages, bringing color and joy to the Venetian coast in the heart of winter. An opportunity to experience Jesolo in a different guise than in summer, discovering its community dimension.
