The major fair dedicated to Japanese culture in CremonaFiere
Japan Show & Italian Koi Expo is the fair that brings the charm of the Land of the Rising Sun to Cremona, transforming the spaces of CremonaFiere into a large village dedicated to Japanese culture. For an entire weekend, visitors and enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the traditions, art, and allure of Japan, in one of the most original events on the Lombardy trade fair scene.
The exhibition brings together over a hundred exhibitors offering everything from crafts, gastronomic specialties, publishing, art, design, and calligraphy. The program includes dozens of events such as presentations, workshops, exhibitions, and conferences with special guests, designed to explore various aspects of Japanese culture, from ancient traditions to contemporary expressions.
The heart of the event is the Italian Koi Expo, the international championship for Koi carp, the only event in Italy dedicated to these prized Japanese fish, with specimens competing from Italy and Europe. Completing the offering are areas dedicated to traditional Japanese tattooing (Irezumi), featuring master tattoo artists, and motorsport, with gatherings of Japanese sports cars.
With its formula that blends culture, entertainment, and collecting, Japan Show & Italian Koi Expo has become a major event for Japan enthusiasts from all over Italy, enriching the cultural offerings of the Province of Cremona with an event of strong identity and great engaging power.
The 5th edition of Japan Show & Italian Koi Expo will be held on April 25-26, 2026, at CremonaFiere, concurrently with the international championship of Japanese Koi carp. The event will feature over 100 exhibitors showcasing crafts, gastronomic specialties, publishing, art, design, and calligraphy, along with a program of over 80 events including presentations, workshops, exhibitions, and conferences.
Among the year's highlights are the Tattoo Japan Show, an exclusive area with over 30 masters of Japanese tattooing, and the Bunta's Car Meeting, a gathering of Japanese sports cars. The centerpiece of the event is the Italian Koi Expo, the only international championship in Italy dedicated to Koi carp, with over 180 specimens competing across more than 30 varieties, hailing from Italy and Europe.
