Inycon – Menfi Wine Festival

The 27th edition of Inycon was held in Menfi (AG) from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, celebrating thirty years of the DOC Menfi as part of the «Sicily European Region of Gastronomy 2025» recognition.

The program offered masterclasses and guided tastings of DOC wines, with the story of the thirty years of the appellation told by experts Armando Castagno and Matteo Gallello, and the conference «Towards the Protection Consortium of DOC Menfi» (Saturday, October 4th). Wine engaged with cuisine thanks to the chefs of the Regional Union of Sicilian Cooks and the closing show cooking by Tony Lo Coco, starred chef of I Pupi in Bagheria (Sunday, October 5th).

Among the novelties, the opening of the historic Villa Varvaro with literary meetings, theatrical performances, and musical moments, and the «Olio su Terra» project with the Menfi Olive Oil Community and journalist Luigi Caricato. On the evening entertainment front, performances included Sasà Salvaggio (Friday), I Quaranta che ballano '90 (Saturday), and the show «Physis» directed by Giusy Di Blasi (Sunday). During the three days, the Gastronomic Village, the Wine Bar, and the Expo Village were active, with guided visits to local wineries and oil mills.
