The travelling street food festival stops in the grand square of Padua
International Street Food is the largest travelling street food festival in Italy, which visits dozens of cities with its stops at each edition. In Padua, it chooses the most scenic setting possible: Prato della Valle, the enormous oval square surrounded by statues and canals, which for four days is filled with food trucks, stands, and aromas from every corner of Italy and the world.
The selection brings together the best of street food: specialities from various Italian regions alongside international offerings, in a culinary journey designed to satisfy all palates. The stands are managed by street restaurateurs associated with A.I.R.S. (Associazione Italiana Ristoratori di Strada), which guarantees the quality and variety of the offerings.
The event has free admission and is organised in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Padova and with the patronage of the Municipality. With extended hours until late at night, the Padua stop of International Street Food is a convivial occasion for families, young people, and the curious, making Prato della Valle a large open-air dining table in the heart of the Veneto capital for a weekend.
International Street Food returns to Padua from April 12th to 15th, 2026 in Prato della Valle, as the 16th stop of the 10th edition of the travelling festival. Dozens of selected food trucks and stands offer street food from Italian regions and international specialities, in a grand celebration of taste with free admission.
The event is organised by A.I.R.S. (Associazione Italiana Ristoratori di Strada), chaired by Alfredo Orofino, in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Padova and with the patronage of the Municipality of Padua.
Details of exhibitors and specialities will be announced by the organisers closer to the event.
